July 22, 2026, San Joaquin, CA: A fatal accident involving a vehicle and a tractor took place at a San Joaquin intersection on Wednesday evening.
According to KSBY, the accident occurred at 8 a.m. at the intersection of Manning Avenue and Yuba Avenue. Police confirmed that a John Deere tractor was traveling west at slow speeds while an Audi sedan was approaching from behind. The Audi suddenly slammed into the back of the tractor, causing the Audi to roll several times. It then burst into flames.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present on scene after the accident. The driver of the Audi was tragically pronounced dead on scene after being discovered unresponsive in their vehicle.
The driver of the tractor sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were sent to the hospital for treatment.
