June 18, 2026, Gilroy, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Gilroy on Thursday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 1:33 p.m. at the intersection of US-101 and Leavesley Road. Police confirmed that a black Honda Accord and a silver Honda sedan collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles sustained damages as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. All parties were able to get out of their vehicles but injuries were reported. One or more were taken to the hospital but their conditions are not yet known.
