Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Burnside, Sexton Rd in Sonoma County

Sonoma County, CA – On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 17, 2026, a pedestrian collision resulted in a fatality at Burnside Road and Sexton Road, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 4:44 PM.

Authorities said a single-cab truck struck a pedestrian at the intersection. A second party sustained head injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital by Sonoma County Fire Department personnel. 

The Sonoma County Coroner was notified and responded to the scene. A medical duty tow was requested for the single-cab truck.

No additional details regarding the identity of the deceased or the full circumstances of the collision had been released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
