June 5, 2026, Hanford, CA: Two people were tragically killed in a motorcycle collision at an intersection in Hanford on Friday evening.
According to Your Central Valley, the crash happened at 4:45 p.m. on State Route 43 around the area of Lansing Avenue. Police confirmed that a driver was in a Ram 1500 headed south on the highway when they attempted to pass a semi-truck in the other lane. When passing, they crashed head-on into a Harley Davidson in the northbound lane.
Paramedics were immediately called to the scene. The driver of the Ram was pinned in their vehicle and had to be freed. They had to be rushed to the hospital with moderate injuries. The motorcycle driver was tragically pronounced dead on scene. The passenger was rushed to the hospital and was also pronounced dead while there.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes as police worked to clear the scene.
