Pedestrian, 86, Injured in Sunrise Ave Crash in Roseville; DUI Suspect Bart Forman, 62, Arrested

Roseville, CA – On the afternoon of Thursday, May 28, 2026, a suspected DUI collision left an 86-year-old female pedestrian hospitalized and led to the arrest of Bart Forman, 62, according to FOX40.

The Roseville Police Department reports that the accident took place around 1:50 PM in the 700 block of Sunrise Avenue.

Authorities said Forman was exiting a parking lot when his vehicle struck the woman as she was crossing the street. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and was expected to survive. 

Officers determined Forman was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and arrested him on suspicion of felony driving under the influence. He was booked at the South Placer County Jail.

Northbound Sunrise Avenue at Cirby Way was briefly closed during the investigation before being reopened. The investigation remains ongoing.
