Tehachapi, CA – On the evening of Wednesday, February 18, 2026, a two-vehicle collision resulted in injuries that proved fatal to Willy Paul Preston Little, 23, of Tehachapi, according to KBAK.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:13 PM on Highway 202 west of Jefferey Road.
Little was transported from the scene and admitted to Kern Medical, where he was treated for injuries sustained in the collision. He died three days after the crash. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
Authorities have not released details regarding the other vehicle or its occupants. The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of next of kin prior to the coroner’s public identification.
