February 6, 2026, Santa Barbara, CA: A woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Santa Barbara on Thursday and has now been identified, according to KSBY.
Police say that 68-year-old Teresa Garcia tragically lost her life in a pedestrian accident at 100 West Anapamu Street in Santa Barbara. She was allegedly walking in the area when she was struck by a vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene following the collision.
Medical staff on scene attempted life-saving measures. However, Teresa was tragically pronounced deceased at the hospital she was taken to after the crash.
