Fresno, CA – On the evening of Wednesday, February 25, 2026, a vehicle-versus-bicyclist collision resulted in serious injuries requiring hospitalization, according to KFSN.
The Fresno Police Department reports that the accident took place around 2:28 AM near Olive Avenue and Parkway Drive by the southbound Highway 99 onramp.
Authorities stated the bicyclist was traveling eastbound on Olive Avenue and entered the southbound Highway 99 onramp at the same time a vehicle was merging onto the roadway. The merging vehicle struck the bicyclist under circumstances that remain under review.
Emergency responders arrived and administered CPR at the scene before transporting the injured bicyclist to a local hospital for further medical treatment. Officials have not released the victim’s identity, and their current medical condition has not been disclosed.
Police confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators.
