January 18, 2026, Visalia, CA: A woman tragically lost her life in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Visalia on Sunday.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened in the early morning hours at the intersection of Giddings Street and Howard Avenue. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was struck at the intersection and the driver didn’t remain on scene following the collision.
The female pedestrian was severely injured and transported to a local hospital. While there, she tragically passed away due to her injuries.
