Gilroy, CA – On the morning of Friday, January 16, 2026, a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision involving a teen driver left one person dead and another seriously injured, according to KSBW.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 9:00 AM in the area of Charles Lux Drive and Lopez Way, near Las Animas Elementary School.
