Sacramento, CA – In the early hours of Monday, December 8, 2025, a pedestrian collision left one person hospitalized with injuries after being struck by a vehicle, according to FOX40.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reports that the accident took place around 6:00 AM near Whitney Avenue.

Officials said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the roadway during the morning commute, suffering injuries that prompted immediate medical evaluation. Paramedics transported the individual to a nearby hospital, where the injuries were described as minor.
