Sacramento, CA – On the evening of Saturday, November 30, 2025, a pedestrian collision left 61-year-old David Zoellner critically injured, according to KCRA.
The Sacramento Police Department reports that the accident took place around 9:30 PM near Rio Linda Boulevard and Ford Road.
Zoellner had been reported missing earlier that morning after he was last seen around 8:00 AM in the 3000 block of Marysville Boulevard, and authorities had classified him as at risk due to medical and mental health conditions.

According to police, the driver stayed at the scene, and investigators determined that impairment did not contribute to the crash.
