Sacramento, CA – On the evening of Thursday, December 25, 2025, a vehicle collision involving an ambulance resulted in injuries to two people, according to FOX40.
The Sacramento Police Department reports that the accident took place around 6:30 PM near Bruceville Road and Timberlake Way.
Authorities stated that the ambulance was transporting a patient at the time of the crash. Officials reported that both the medic and the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. Their conditions were described as non-life-threatening. Police confirmed that the patient inside the ambulance was evaluated at the scene and did not sustain injuries as a result of the collision.
Police indicated that the driver of the other vehicle was suspected of driving under the influence at the time of the crash. The individual was detained at the scene as part of standard investigative and public safety procedures.
