Anaheim, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 10, 2025, a suspected DUI traffic collision injured nine high school students, according to KSBW.

The Anaheim Police Department reports that the accident took place around 2:55 PM near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and North Street.

Authorities say a small sedan, driven by a 27-year-old man, collided with several students from the Anaheim High School track team. The vehicle ultimately came to a stop after crashing into the corner wall of a nearby home. Three of the nine victims were transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, while the remaining six were assessed at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident as a possible DUI. Emergency personnel responded promptly, securing the scene and providing care to the injured students. CHP Fatal notes that all details remain under investigation to determine contributing factors.

California DUI Law

Section 23153(a) of the California Vehicle Code (CVC) states that it is illegal for any driver to “Operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and, as a result, cause bodily injury to someone else.”

Personal Injury Claims

When the actions of reckless drivers cause others to be injured, the cost of recovery should not fall on their victims. Filing a Personal Injury Claim with the at-fault party’s insurance can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
