November 28, 2025, Stockton, CA: A hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred at a Stockton intersection on Friday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4:14 p.m. at the intersection of New Hope Rod and Thornton Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided with one another at the intersection due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. At least one victim on scene was injured in the accident. It is not known how many were hospitalized with injuries in total.
No further details have been released at this time. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
