San Luis Obispo, CA – On the evening of Saturday, November 8, 2025, a collision between a car and a pedestrian resulted in a fatality, according to The San Luis Obispo Tribune, with additional reporting from CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 7:14 PM on southbound Highway 101, just after the Madonna Road off-ramp.

Authorities said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, leading to fatal injuries at the scene. Emergency crews responded, temporarily restricting traffic in the area as they investigated and provided assistance. 

Officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
