November 16, 2025, Kerman, CA: An accident involving a big rig with injuries took place near a Kerman intersection on Sunday evening.
According to Your Central Valley, the collision happened around 4:40 p.m. on Highway 145 near its intersection with Manning Avenue. Police confirmed that a big rig hauling a trailer was headed southbound and approaching a stop sign at Manning. The driver of the big rig kept going through the stop sign, causing them to broadside the left side of a GMC vehicle. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. The driver and front passenger in the GMC sustained injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. There were also two children in the backseat but they were not hurt. The driver of the big rig was also not injured.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
