Fairfield, CA – On the evening of Monday, October 6, 2025, two people suffered serious injuries in a three-vehicle collision, according to ABC10.
The Fairfield Police Department reports that the crash took place around 8:26 PM at the intersection of North Texas Street and Travis Boulevard.
Officers arrived to find one driver partially ejected from their vehicle and unresponsive. Emergency crews transported that individual to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Another driver also sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Authorities found evidence suggesting that the second driver may have been driving under the influence and issued a citation.
Due to the extent of the injuries, the California Highway Patrol’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to assist Fairfield Police with the investigation.
Officials have not released the name of the driver cited for DUI, and the condition of the unresponsive driver remains undisclosed as of Tuesday morning.
Personal Injury Claims
When the actions of reckless drivers cause others to be injured, the cost of recovery should not fall on their victims. Filing a Personal Injury Claim with the at-fault party’s insurance can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
California DUI Law
Section 23153(a) of the California Vehicle Code (CVC) states that it is illegal for any driver to “Operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and, as a result, cause bodily injury to someone else.”
