Sacramento, CA – On the afternoon of Saturday, October 4, 2025, a man riding a scooter suffered critical injuries after a car struck him in the city’s College Town neighborhood, according to KCRA.
The Sacramento Police Department reports that the collision occurred around 1:02 PM at the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and Power Inn Road.
Paramedics provided medical treatment at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital. Authorities described his condition as critical. They have not released his name or additional identifying information.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers. Police closed portions of the intersection for several hours as they documented the scene and gathered evidence.
Investigators continue to review the circumstances that led to the collision. Officials have not determined what caused the driver to strike the man on the scooter.
