Sacramento, CA – On the morning of Saturday, October 25, 2025, a pedestrian was struck and killed in a suspected hit-and-run collision near Florin Road and 24th Street, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The Sacramento Police Department reports that the crash occurred shortly after 5:00 AM in the Meadowview neighborhood. Responding officers arrived to find the pedestrian critically injured in the roadway, and fire personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
