Stanfield Hill, CA – On the evening of Wednesday, October 15, 2025, a head-on collision left six people injured, including three children, according to KCRA.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 5:15 PM on Marysville Road near Leanne Way, close to Collins Lake in rural Yuba County.
Investigators said a 56-year-old woman driving north on Marysville Road drifted into oncoming southbound traffic, causing the two vehicles to collide head-on. She suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center for treatment.
The other driver, a 53-year-old man, was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center after sustaining a broken arm and additional injuries. His passengers included a 36-year-old woman and three children, all of whom were transported to Adventist Health and Rideout with minor injuries.
Marysville Road remained closed for nearly two hours while CHP officers investigated the crash and crews worked to clear the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Personal Injury Claims
After a traffic accident, victims and their families often deal with unexpected financial burdens, such as medical bills, lost income, and, in the worst cases, burial costs. A Personal Injury Claim allows accident victims to hold the at-fault party financially responsible for their costs of care.
Ongoing Investigations
Victims of traffic accidents and their families should be aware that authorities may fail to note or even misinterpret critical evidence at a crash site. One of the services that a Personal Injury Attorney can provide is to pursue follow-up investigations, which can reveal additional evidence to correct any errors made by previous investigators.
