October 7, 2025, Merced, CA: On Tuesday morning, a big rig accident with major injuries occurred at an intersection in Merced.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:10 a.m. at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Montpelier Road. Police confirmed that a big rig and two sedans collided at the intersection due to reasons that are not yet known. The second sedan rolled over into a field, leading to severe damages.
One victim sustained injuries to their face and head. A second victim, in the rolled vehicle, sustained multiple lacerations and serious head trauma. They were both hospitalized.
