September 5, 2025, Visalia, CA: On Thursday evening, a scooter accident involving a vehicle took place in Visalia and led to injuries.
According to the Visalia Stringer Facebook page, the collision happened at 5:58 p.m. at the intersection of Mendonca Street and Glendale Avenue. Police confirmed that a scooter rider was traveling in the area when they were struck by the driver of a silver Chevrolet SUV. The scooter was left in several pieces as a result of the accident.
The scooter rider sustained injuries. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment, though their current condition is not yet known.
Visalia Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
