September 2, 2025, Oakhurst, CA: A rollover collision involving two vehicles took place on a road in Oakhurst on Saturday morning.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened at 10:20 a.m. on Civic Circle. Police confirmed that a Mariposa man was traveling west while an Oakhurst woman was traveling in the same direction but in the second lane. Suddenly, the man, who was driving a Toyota, attempted to make a right turn into a parking lot. He did not check to see if his path was clear, causing it to collide with the woman’s Subaru.
Both vehicles forcefully connected, causing them to overturn. One of the vehicles was on its side and the other was completely upside-down, leading to extensive damages.
The driver and passenger in the Toyota sustained injuries in the accident. They were both transported to the hospital. The driver of the Subaru was not hurt.
