September 24, 2025, Pismo Beach, CA: A pedestrian accident that took place at a motel in Pismo Beach led to injuries on Wednesday night.
According to information provided by KMPH, the collision happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Ocean Palms Motel at the intersection of Ocean View Avenue and Price Street. Police confirmed that two people were walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by the driver of a passenger vehicle. The vehicle then slammed into the nearby motel.
Witnesses claim that one of the pedestrians was trapped under the vehicle. Both pedestrians were injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was given a sobriety test after the accident. They were then arrested on suspicion of a DUI.
