September 18, 2025, Madera, CA: A big rig crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Madera on Thursday afternoon.
The accident, according to California Highway Patrol, happened at 2:06 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 18 1/2 and Golden State Boulevard. Police confirmed that a big rig and a red Honda collided with each other at the intersection near a local farm. They did not say what led up to the collision.
Paramedics and several other responders were present after the accident. One or more parties sustained injuries in the accident. Their conditions are not currently known.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
