August 27, 2025, Visalia, CA: On Wednesday afternoon, a scooter accident involving a passenger vehicle led to injuries at a Visalia intersection.
According to information provided by the Visalia Stringer Facebook page, the collision happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Court Street and Mineral King Avenue. Police confirmed that a scooter rider was headed across the intersection in a crosswalk when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The scooter could be seen up under the front end of the car.
The scooter rider sustained minor injuries in the accident. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.
