Pedestrian Injured in Northgate Blvd Crash in Sacramento

Sacramento, CA – In the evening of Tuesday, August 26, 2025, a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Sacramento and left him with life-threatening injuries, according to FOX40.

The Sacramento Police Department reports that the accident took place around 8:15 PM on the 3100 block of Northgate Boulevard.

Officers responded to the scene and found a man lying in the roadway with severe trauma. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, where doctors listed his condition as critical.

Authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officers documented the crash site and restricted traffic along Northgate Boulevard while medical crews treated the victim.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigations Unit and members of the Crime Scene Investigations team responded to conduct a full investigation. Authorities ask anyone with additional information to contact investigators.

The Sacramento Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
