July 23, 2025, Sanger, CA: A head-on collision with major injuries took place on a highway in Sanger on Wednesday.
According to information provided by ABC30, the accident happened on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 180. Police confirmed that a driver in a Nissan tried to pass slower traffic when they crashed head-on into a Chevy pickup truck headed west. The two vehicles then slammed into an SUV.
The driver of the Nissan sustained major injuries in the accident. They were flown to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The other involved drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
No further details have been released but police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
