July 11, 2025, Madera, CA: A big rig accident involving a passenger vehicle took place at a Madera intersection and led to injuries on Friday afternoon.
According to information provided by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 2:04 p.m. at the intersection of SR-99 and Avenue 12. Police confirmed that a big rig and a white van were traveling in the area when they collided at the intersection, causing one of the vehicles to strike a mobile sign board in the area. Both vehicles were left with damages due to the collision.
At least one person sustained injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics took injured parties to a local hospital for treatment.
