June 16, 2025, Marina, CA: On Monday night, a pedestrian was killed in a fatal collision that took place in Marina.
According to information provided by Kion 46, the accident occurred on Reservation Road near the area of Mbest Drive. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area due to reasons that remain under investigation.
According to CHP traffic logs, a “1144” code was released, which stands for a deadly collision. It is believed that the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. However, police did not say if anybody else was injured in the crash.
Police urged those in the area to avoid the scene and all westbound traffic was diverted onto Research Road for some time.
No further details have been released. Marina Police continue their investigation at this time.
