June 23, 2025, Reedley, CA: On Monday morning, a big rig accident took place at an intersection in Reedley that injured one.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Nurmi Avenue and Manning Avenue. Police confirmed that a big rig was traveling westbound on Manning and hauling a trailer behind it. The driver started to make a U-turn when the big rig was struck from behind by a black Honda Pilot. The rear-end collision caused extensive front-end damage to the Honda.
The driver of the Honda sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The truck driver remained on scene but was not hurt.
No further details have been released at this time. California Highway Patrol continues its investigation.
