Determining Liability in Madera Car Accidents
Car accidents happen every hour of the day for a wide array of reasons. From distracted driving to speeding, there are many negligent actions that lead to Madera collisions specifically. When you have become injured in an accident caused by another party’s negligence, you will need to show that another party is at fault for the accident. An attorney can help you prove this by showing the following:
- A driver owed you a duty of care
- A driver breached their duty of care to you
- The breach in duty led to your accident
- The accident led to injuries and other damages
It can be challenging to face the aftermath of a collision, especially one that resulted in injuries. You may also discover that you have limited time to file your claim. In California, the statute of limitations is two years from the time that you discover your injuries. The clock is ticking down, which is why it is crucial that you act quickly to retain your rights.
