May 2, 2025, Fresno, CA: A man tragically lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident in Fresno that landed him in a nearby canal on Friday night.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred at 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Fedora and Maroa Avenues. Police confirmed that a truck was traveling in the area when it collided with a motorcyclist due to reasons that remain under investigation. The motorcyclist, as well as his bike, were both submerged in a nearby canal when police arrived.
Fresno fire pulled the motorcyclist, identified as a man in his 20s, out of the canal. He was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The driver of the truck remained on scene and was not hurt.
No further details have been released at this time. Fresno Police continue their investigation into the collision.
