March 31, 2025, Moss Landing, CA: One person tragically lost their life in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place at an intersection in Moss Landing on Monday morning.
According to information provided by Kion 46 News Channel, the accident happened around 2:44 a.m. at the intersection of Dolan Road and Avila Avenue. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area. It is not known if the driver remained on scene or fled the scene at this time.
The pedestrian was identified as 55-year-old Thao Van Le of San Jose. They were tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of their injuries.
The road was blocked for several hours in the early morning.
No further details have been released at this time. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
