April 25, 2025, Stockton, CA: A shooting caused a vehicle to crash on a highway in Stockton, which led to injuries in one victim.
According to information provided by KCRA, the accident happened at 9:07 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 around the area of Mariposa Road. Police confirmed that a vehicle was shot at on the highway, which caused the driver to lose control and crash.
The driver of the vehicle that crashed sustained injuries as a result of the collision. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police blocked the roads until approximately 10:08 a.m.
Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the shooting. Their investigation into the incident continues at this time.
