April 16, 2025, Santa Maria, CA: On Wednesday morning, one person lost their life in a fatal motorcycle accident on a highway in Santa Maria.
The accident, according to information provided by KSBY, happened around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of US-101 and East Main Street. Police confirmed that a motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they were involved in a collision with an agricultural bus and ended up slamming into the passenger side of the bus.
The motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of the accident. Nobody on the bus sustained injuries.
Officials continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
