March 4, 2025, Lodi, CA: An injury accident took place near a Lodi Church and intersection on Tuesday this week.
The accident, according to information provided by Lodi News, occurred at the intersection of Edgewood Drive and Turner Road. A driver of a Nissan was stopped at the intersection when she attempted to go around the vehicles. Her vehicle was sideswiped by another vehicle. This caused the Nissan to travel off the road, where it collided with Vintage Church at 444 West Turner Road.
One or more parties sustained injuries in the accident, though none were major. It is believed that the injured parties were hospitalized. There were no individuals inside the church at the time but a wall inside the church cracked.
There have been many other accidents in this exact area over the years, with calls for action to make the intersection safer.
