March 8, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: One person tragically lost their life in a fatal collision that took place at a Bakersfield intersection on Saturday evening.
According to information provided by Bakersfield Now, the accident happened around 5:38 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Standard Road and Gossamer Grove Boulevard. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided at the intersection due to reasons that are not entirely known.
One person, who has not yet been formally identified, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to their injuries. It is not known if any other parties were hurt.
