January 8, 2025, Ridgecrest, CA: A man tragically lost his life in a fatal pedestrian accident in Ridgecrest on Wednesday evening.
According to information provided by Bakersfield Now, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on China Lake Boulevard. Police confirmed that a man was walking in the area when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle. It is believed that the driver stopped and remained on scene following the accident.
The pedestrian, identified as a 39-year-old man, was rushed to the hospital with traumatic injuries. He was tragically pronounced dead while there.
