January 21, 2025, Los Banos, CA: A child was critically injured in a pedestrian accident that took place in Los Banos on Tuesday night.

According to information provided by KCRA, the accident happened around 8:19 p.m. at 22000 Highway 33. Police initially responded to a shooting in the area, which is when they discovered that a child was struck by a vehicle. They did not say if the events were related or not.

The child, identified only as a 3-year-old, was critically injured as a result of the accident. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Nobody else was injured in the collision.
