December 9, 2024, Clovis, CA: A student was injured in a pedestrian accident at a high school in Clovis on Monday afternoon.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened in the afternoon hours at the Clovis East High School in Clovis. A student was riding a scooter at the school when they were involved in a collision with a sedan, causing them to fall off of their scooter.
The child sustained scrapes and bruising but they were conscious at the scene. They were transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police claim that this was the second incident that involved a student in an accident at a Clovis Unified School in one week’s time.
The investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
