December 8, 2024, Hanford, CA: On Sunday around midnight, a fatal collision involving an alleged high-speed driver took place at a Hanford intersection.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred around midnight at the intersection of Fargo and 13th Avenues. Deputies were called to the scene, where they discovered that a Toyota 4Runner and a Chevrolet Traverse were involved in a collision. The driver of the Toyota was allegedly traveling at high speeds when the driver crashed into the Chevrolet at the four-way stop due to not stopping at the stop sign.
Both of the drivers involved in the crash were pinned in their vehicles and had to be freed. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as an adult female, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to her injuries. The driver of the Toyota was rushed to Kaweah Health with major injuries.
No further details have been released at this time but the investigation into the accident continues.
