November 19, 2024, Fresno, CA: A woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place at an intersection in Fresno on Tuesday night.
The accident, according to AOL, took place at 6:12 p.m. at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Third Street. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was walking in the area when they stepped off the median and were struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver remained on scene after the accident.
The pedestrian, identified as a 41-year-old woman from Fresno, was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of her injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
No further details have been released but Fresno County officials continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
