November 7, 2024, Morro Bay, CA: A fatal pedestrian accident tragically took the life of one victim on Thursday afternoon in Morro Bay.
The accident, according to KSBY, happened at the intersection of Beach Street and Market Avenue. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was walking at the intersection when they were struck by the driver of a passenger vehicle. The driver remained on scene to cooperate with police following the collision.
The pedestrian, identified as a 77-year-old woman, was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of her injuries. The 53-year-old San Luis Obispo County driver was not injured.
