November 26, 2024, Fresno, CA: On Tuesday morning, one person lost their life in a fatal collision that took place on a Fresno highway.
The accident, according to information provided by ABC30, initially happened around 5:30 a.m. on Highway 180. A driver was traveling on the highway in a Toyota Tacoma went they suddenly lost control and their vehicle went through a guardrail. It then fell onto Highway 41 below. Police believe that rainy weather may have contributed to the accident.
The driver of the Toyota was injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment. Their passenger was also taken to the hospital but tragically passed away while there. Nobody else was involved in the accident.
Police urged drivers traveling in the area to take precautions due to the slippery conditions left by the rain.
