Financial Recovery for Victims of Lodi Pedestrian Accidents
Pedestrian accidents can be a devastating experience, especially when children are involved. If a child is injured, they will not be able to file a personal injury claim on their own. However, a parent or guardian will be able to file one on their behalf. As a child heals from their injuries, damages can help a family get back on their feet financially.
In California, there is a strict statute of limitations to follow. Typically, it would be two years from the time a person is injured before they are unable to file a claim. However, a child has until they are 18 years of age for the timer to start ticking. It is crucial that a family acts quickly to protect the rights of their loved one following one of these accidents.
