September 24, 2024, Kingsburg, CA: Nine people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place at a Kingsburg intersection on Tuesday morning.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Mountain View Avenue and Bethel Avenue. Police confirmed that a Dodge pickup truck was headed west on Mountain View when it was involved in a collision with a Chevy Astro van.
A total of six people were in the pickup truck and three people were inside the van at the time of the collision. One of the individuals was ejected from their vehicle. The pickup truck sustained severe front-end damage after crashing into a pole off the side of the road. Nine victims were hospitalized but none of the injuries were severe.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
