September 16, 2024, Lost Hills, CA: On Monday, a worker was killed in a fatal truck accident that took place at a workplace in Lost Hills.
The accident, according to information provided by Bakersfield.com, happened at 6:05 p.m. at The Wonderful Co., which is located at 13646 Highway 33. A man was riding as a passenger in a vehicle when it was involved in a collision with a truck on the company’s property.
The passenger, identified as a male farm laborer on the property, was tragically pronounced dead as a result of his injuries caused by the collision. It is not believed that anybody else was injured in the accident.
Kern County officials continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
