September 20, 2024, Bakersfield, CA: One person sustained injuries in a big rig accident that took place on a highway in Bakersfield on Friday morning.
According to Bakersfield Now, the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 just south of California Avenue. A big rig was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with another vehicle, causing it to roll over onto its side. The truck was loaded with carrots.
One person sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The individual was hospitalized.
Due to the severity of the accident, two lanes of traffic were blocked for some time.
